7 things to do with your family this fall #KidApproved

Fall is finally here and I'm so excited for it! It's finally the time of the year where you can cuddle up with a hot cup of starbucks, watch the leaves change colors, and enjoy a brisk fall morning. I absolutely adore this time of year and love spending it with my family. My kids are all grown up now, but I use to love making their fall season filled with outdoor activities. So here's a few things you and your family can do this season to enjoy this beautiful time of year.

1. ENJOY A FUN FESTIVAL

Fall is the time where family friendly festivals are on high alert. This year Atlanta is filled with festivals like 'Fall Festival on Ponce Arts' or Fall-O-Ween Fest and Outdoor Movie (which is free!!) Grab your snacks, grab the kids, and enjoy a nice day filled with fun activities for everyone.


2. GO PUMPKIN PICKING

Pumpkins are a must have for fall decor and taking your kids along to pick them out is even better! Take a ride out to a local vendor and spend time with the kids picking the best pumpkins.


3. GET LOST IN A CORN MAZE

Get lost with the little ones while navigating a corn maze. It's a great time to tired the babies out and use teamwork to get out of the maze! You'll truly enjoy this one!

4. PLAY IN THE LEAVES

Nothing says fall like seeing kids jump in piles of leaves! Get the whole gang together to rake the leaves up in the yard and make a day out of it. Let your kids bundle up and have a ton of fun playing outside.

5. MAKE A BACK YARD BONFIRE

Get your little ones excited about the night by hyping up a bon fire night. Use the day to prepare by making s'mores, apple cider, and hot chocolate. To make it extra special set up a tent in the back yard for a fun night outdoors.

6. BINGE WATCH HOLIDAY MOVIES

Some days you might just want a relaxing night in. What better way to enjoy some family time then snuggling up on the couch to watch some movies. Make it extra fun by popping popcorn, ordering pizza, and maybe building a fort ;)

7. GO ICE SKATING 

Kids will always adore going skating, but how about switching it up and going ICE skating! Enjoy a chilly day in the rink learning to roller skate. Grab some hot chocolate at the concession stand and enjoy every moment with your family.
